Super "Mardi Gras" Bowl
New Orleans wins all the way around...the Saints are in the Super Bowl and Newman High School graduate Peyton Manning is the opposing QB.
If the Saints win on the 7th, it will be the biggest Mardi Gras parade on the 16th that there has ever been!

Yeah, Fat Tuesday is on the 16th but Mardi Gras starts way before that. The first parade, Krewe du Vieux, kicks off Mardi Gras this Saturday night(Jan 30th) so they will already be in full swing Mardi Gras mode by Superbowl time. It would be a crazy time to be in New Orleans.....

In Metarie and Kenner, you'd have the right description...
...but on Bourbon and Canal...it is an entirely different story. I spent three years in New Orleans, and I learned quickly that this country boy didn't belong in those places during this time of year.

So you really think it will be Saints 35-21?
If the Saints defense can generate pressure on Peyton like they did on Brett, it could be a Saints victory. Peyton doesn't like to get out of the pocket...never has.

I fear the Saints will have to hope for a "Colt McCoy" on the Colts. Do disrespect to Farve, but he is no Manning. In terms of talent and ability, Peyton is arguable to greatest QB in the history of the NFL. I'm pulling for the Saints, but I'm also a realist

#18 is good, but the Colts once had a #19 who has always been considered the greatest QB in the NFL. Maybe the older guys around here might want to attest to the abilities of Johnny Unitas.
