You know rammajamma its fans like you that give Bama a bad rep. Looking through Crimson colored glasses! I am the biggest Bama fan you will ever meet but i am aslo one that is practical. Yes tradition is great, its is in fact what makes college football so much fun and i love tht fact that Bama has a tradition second to none, but right now Bama has fallen on hard times. 4 losing seasons in the last 7 that is not the mark of dynasty or even consistency. I do however take solace that almost all teams fall on hard times. Miami and Oklahoma in the 90's Bama in the 50's Notre Dame in the 60's but they were able to rise back to the top. So to bring this too a conclusion please be realistic about the next few lean years and please stop ragging on teams that quiet frankly are better than Bama is right now(due to scholarship limitations and coaching changes) because you are MAKING ME LOOK BAD!

I am a Bama fan, and a Bama student. I love the team and cheer for them regaurdless of how well the season is going (unlike a few "fans" I know). But do know that there isn't a snowballs chance in hell Bama will go undefeated next year. Here are my predictions:

I love Alabama. I don't think that Shula is going to be our coach for very long. That makes me sad. However, I like him a whole lot and I hope that i'm wrong. I we do find ourselves going through another coaching change in the near future, why can't we get someone with experience. Jimmy Johnson, Mike Ditka, or even steal LSU's coach! We have the bucks to do it so why don't go after them!

What makes you think that Mike is gone? I dont understand why people hound the Coaches. They cant make them boys go out there and win games. Coaches might make a few errors now and then but who dont? ROLL TIDE AND GO MIKE!

You also can't blame the coach this time around; he had maybe six weeks to work with a team that was recruited by a coach that left right after recruiting them for Texas A&M. I'm sure UA will give Coach Shula a few more seasons to see if things improve. Hopefully, they will ^_^

I like Mike don't get me wrong. I've just watched his actions on the sidelines this year and he really doesnt seem to be leading the team too well. He allows bad calls to go by without discussing it with the officials too. I also think that if he keeps Kines like he says that he will we have another long season ahead. Bend but don't break. Just another term for prevent. And all prevent does is prevent you from winning. I hope I am wrong but I just get the feeling that no matter how many seasons you give him things will probably still not get a whole lot better. But hey what do I know. I hope I'm wrong. I hope that he's the next Bear Bryant and stays till he's 100.

The way i see it Mike had 3 weeks to put in his offense. The only thing that worries me is that i didnt see much improvement out of the team during the year.
